Jeff Pasz had 5 birdies on the back nine to out duel Jonathan Barnes and hold on for his first Harbour Pointe Open win. Pasz’ 4 under par 140 two day score was the best since 2021. Barnes finished 1 back at 3 under par 141. Tom W Litzler took 3rd at 2 over par 146 and Don Ward tied Tyler Floyd for 4th at 7 over 151.Â
Day 2 notables: Pasz had 6 birdies and 2 eagles for a two day total of 13 and 4. Pasz had another chip in for birdie. Pasz and Greg Kline led Day 2 with 28 putts. Brian Lardin finished in the money to retain #1 in all-time HPO winnings. Barnes led with 12 fairways hit to 11 for Litzler and 10 for Ward, Kline and Steward Levine. Barnes led with 11 greens and Ward had 10. Floyd had 9 birdies on Day 2.

Jonathan Barnes and Jeff Pasz shared the Day 1 HPO lead at 1 under par 71. Jeff Pasz ran up 5 birdies and an eagle in a row on the front nine to overcome 2 early bad holes and get to the lead. Eventually Barnes posted at 1 under with a birdie on 18 and Pasz matched with an 18 birdie for the tie. Don Ward was 3rd at 1 over par 73 and Brian Lardin completed the final leaders group with a 75 3 over par. The on course prize went to Tim Markel and Tom Moran earned the All-Star Skins Game invitation. Ward took fewest putts at 28.Â
Notables Day 1: Bob Delorey led with 14 fairways hit. Pasz had 12 along with Helen Puffenberger. Barnes, Litzler and Mike Lee hit 11. Lardin and Doak hit 10. Barnes hit 11 greens and Lardin hit 10. Pasz had 7 birdies and 2 eagles and Litzler had 6 birdies. Pasz and Erika Fitzpatrick had chip in eagles. Ned Loving also had a chip in.Â
The Day 1 cut line was +13, the highest since 2019 at Paint Creek.
