Chris Dunmore birdied the final hole to cap a clean card, 5 under par back nine and grab the Grail from Tyler Floyd. Chris’ overall 8 under par 64 topped Tyler by 1. Tyler opened with a 30 on the front nine to take the lead for most of the very hot afternoon. Jeff Cubel took 3rd at 6 under par 66 and Kevin Gregoire tied Ken Westerman for 4th at 4 under par 68. On course prizes went to Phil Parent and defending champ Tommy O’Neill. Rick Floyd earned the West Skins Game invitation.Â
Notables: Helen Puffenberger led with 10 fairways and had 3 birdies and 4 eagles. O’Neill hit 11 greens to Corey McCue’s 10. Cubel had 9 birdies, Tyler Floyd had 7 birdies and 2 eagles, Scott Wilsey 7 birdies, Chris Dunmore 5 birdies and 2 eagles and Gregoire had 6 birdies and 1 eagle. Tyler moved to 4th in all -time Holy Grail winnings. Chris Dunmore moves up 8 spots in the World Rankings to 25th by getting his 4th career win in his 219th start.
