Don Ward charged home with a birdie-birdie finish including a dramatic chip-in on the 18th to flip the leaderboard from Stewart Levine who had led on the back nine. Ward edged out Levine with a 2 under par 69 to Levine’s 70. Ward cleaned up all the awards for the day which may be a Tour first. He took the on course prize, had the fewest putts and earned the All Star Skins invitation! And to top it off, Ward posted his 4th gross score of 71 or lower on Tour with an Even Par 71. A pretty good day.
Tom Carroll and Scott Wilsey shot net 72 1 over par to tie for 3rd.
